Position summary

Performs a variety of administrative duties in support of the day-to-day operations of
the MPP and their constituency office. Responds to, and documents, all telephone and written inquiries/complaints/concerns raised by constituents. Ensures the Member or their delegate is well informed of potential issues.

Education Requirements

• Post-secondary education in administrative studies or equivalent.

Desired Experience

• Office experience

Qualifications

• General office administration knowledge and experience is required.
• Strong and versatile written and verbal communication skills (in English and French)

Responsabilities

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond to and document constituent inquiries/complaints/concerns.
• Greet constituents at reception.
• Answer telephone calls.
• Resolve inquiries/complaints/concerns independently, with senior staff, or by forwarding to
the appropriate Ministry or level of government (federal or municipal).
• Maintain records on constituency concerns.
• Brief the MPP/EA on ongoing issues in the riding.
• Maintain database/mailing lists.
• Perform media monitoring for the riding.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Hours

Monday to Friday
Ability to attend some evening and weekend events.
