Our Team

A seasoned businesswoman recognized for her understanding of Ontario’s socio-economic realities and her involvement in her community, Caroline has extensive management and administrative experience, particularly in community and not-for-profit organizations. Co-founder of Groupe Convex, Caroline has over 20 years of experience in community and economic development, including 7 years with the Employment Services Centre. Recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Collective Excellence Award in 2014 (Conseil de coopération de l’Ontario), Social Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011 (Trico Foundation) and Woman of the Year in Economic Development of the Prescott and Russell region in 2008 (FADER), She has also received several other nominations over the years. These include Minister Duguid’s appointment to the Ontario Partnership Council for the Employment of Persons with Disabilities and a finalist in the Canadian Angels of Social Enterprises in 2009.

Holder of a master’s degree in Community Development from the University of Victoria, Caroline holds a Bachelor of És Arts from the Université du Québec à Montréal, a Certificate in Human Resources Management, and a Certificate in Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal, a Certificate in Communications from Saint Paul University in Ottawa and a short program in Volunteer Resource Management from Ryerson University. She has participated in several academic publications and is involved in several organizations, including as a research associate for the Centre of Learning Social Economy and Work of the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.
An undisputed leader, Caroline works closely with her team and community partners to bring the Centre together with its new mission and vision. Based on newly established values and principles and a renewed business orientation that includes working collaboratively with its clients and community, the Centre is reaching new heights.
