Job Description
We are currently seeking an Industrial Electrician to join our team of skilled professionals at our Hawkesbury, ON location.

Functions & Duties
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the primary roles and responsibilities of an Industrial Electrician are to install, repair and maintain all electrical requirements while respecting the company's safety rules and regulations ultimately creating a safe and orderly workplace. Shift structure consists of 12hr and 8hr shifts on rotation between days and nights. The candidate must also be available to work weekends

Perform preventative maintenance on required equipment and scheduled work as required
Manage assigned work orders
Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment in a manufacturing plant
Install, maintain and troubleshoot distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and fuse disconnect
Work with automated equipment
Comprehend and use technical manuals and schematics
Organize work area, tools and parts
Requirements and qualifications
Licensed as a Journey-Man Electrician (Red Seal)
Minimum of five years maintenance experience in an industrial plant setting
Experience with various instrumentation sensors and transmitters
Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnosing and testing PLC automated circuit, motors and motor control circuits
Knowledge of relevant electrical safety codes
Must be able to learn computer-based maintenance software
Knowledge of Allen Bradley AC Drives, ControlLogix PLC, Relay Logic skills is a plus
Must possess superior analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential
Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple jobs with varying priorities
Must be able to work in a team setting with other tradesman
