Renewed success for the 3rd edition of the CSEPR Job Fair
Hawkesbury, March 10th, 2014 – The Organizing Committee of the 3rd Edition of the CSEPR Job Fair wishes to thank the 1200 visitors, 70 employers and the Centre’s employees who – again this year – allowed for the Job Fair to be a huge success. Even though the climate wasn’t cooperating for the Rockland event, 500 visitors attended the March 1st Fair at the River Rock Inn to meet with employers present there. As for March 8th, 700 visitors came to the École secondaire catholique régionale de Hawkesbury (ÉSCRH) to try out for the jobs offered by those employers. A total of 610 positions were available during these 2 days through participating employers.
“It’s always a pleasure to see the very high satisfaction rate that comes from both employers present at the Fair and job seekers who participate in our event,” said André Roy, Executive Director for the CSEPR. “Each year, a huge amount of effort and dedication must be made by the Organizing Committee and the Centre’s employees to prepare the event. Our reward certainly comes from the joy expressed not only by job seekers who get interviews, or even a job, at the Fair, but also from employers who say they met with a large number of good candidates to fill their positions. The vocation of the Centre is certainly transmitted through this event, and nothing is more rewarding for us than to know we managed to match employers and job seekers”, concluded Mr. Roy.
Each new edition brings improvements as to better meet expectations of our clientele towards the event. Comments shared through on-site surveys are closely examined by the Organizing Committee, and necessary adjustments are made whenever possible. This particular attention certainly shows through the increasing positive results from year to year.
