Spread the word : the CSEPR Job is back !
Hawkesbury, December 3rd, 2014 – The CSEPR Job Fair will be back next March in Prescott-Russell. That’s what the Employment Services Centre announced today. This 4th edition will be held Saturday, March 14th at the River Rock Inn in Rockland and Saturday, March 21st at École secondaire catholique régionale de Hawkesbury (ÉSCRH) in Hawkesbury. The 2015 Edition is made possible in part through the financial contributions of the following partners: United Counties of Prescott and Russell, Eastern Ontario Training Board, Compagnie d’Édition André Paquette Inc., and the Town of Hawkesbury-East. Furthermore this year the Job Fair will feature BDO Canada as a collaborator who will present a free seminar on how to start or buy a business.
“It’s with enthusiasm that we add this year a seminar to our fair,” said André Roy, Executive Director for the Employment Services Centre. “We believe the subject really blends with our event. Often looking for work can be a long process and job seekers come to a point where they wonder what other opportunities might be available to them. Starting or buying a business is an interesting alternative, but it requires a good deal of preparation. The BDO Canada seminar aims at presenting the basis necessary to starting or buying a business,” added Mr. Roy. “However the main objective of the CSEPR job fair remains pairing job seekers and employers, that’s why this year we aim at having a minimum of 55 employers taking part in our events to meet with job seekers. All employers will have actual positions to fill,” concluded Mr. Roy.
Participation in this event is a unique opportunity for employers to meet potential candidates to fill their positions, but it also allows them to gather résumés that can be used further on during the year to fill other positions in their companies.
The vast promotional campaign launched by the Centre around this event also offers exceptional visibility at very low cost to employers who take part in it. And, same as past years, a dedicated website to the fair will allow both job seekers and employers to get all necessary information pertaining to the event. For job seekers, they will be entitled to know which employers will attend the fair, see a listing of available positions, and learn about the seminar. As for employers, they can register directly online through the site. So regular visits to this website is a must to learn all the details and news in regards to the Job Fair. The website address is: www.csepr.ca/foire-emploi and will be activated at the end of January 2015.
The Centre invites all employers interested in taking part in the event to contact our Job Developers to book their space. To do so, they should call for Rockland, France Gareau, Job Developer and Placement Agent at 613.446.4189 and for Hawkesbury, Murielle Huneault-Pilon, Job Developer at, at 613.632.0179.
