Youth job training
HAWKESBURY - The Employment Services Centre (CSEPR) is offering a new youth program called "Youth Job Connection Program". It aims at helping young people aged from 15 to 29 years old. The new program will support youth by providing them with the professional services of employment counselors, participations at paid workshops and other activites to imporve job-seeking skills and improve job retention rates. Yong participants can be matched with employers for paid, on-the-job training. Both participants and employers in the program will be entitled to receive financial support. This new program follows the end of the Youth Employment Fund which concluded last March.
All programs and services offered by the Centre are free of charge to the Prescott-Russell population.
Employment Services Centre (CSEPR) is a not-for-profit corporation with three offices serving Prescott-Russell. It is funded by the Ministry of Traiining, Colleges and Universities for the Employemnt Ontario program, as well as the Ministry of Community and Social Sservices for the Ontario Disability Support Program, and gets funding for the Ontario Works program from the United Counties of Prescott-Russell as well.
