CSEPR Job Fair March 17 and 24

The Employment Services Centre (CSEPR) will be holding the seventh edition of its Job Fair on Saturday, March 17, 2018, at École secondaire catholique régionale de Hawkesbury (ÉSCRH) in Hawkesbury and on March 24, 2018, at the River Rock Inn in Rockland.

"It's amazing to think that we are now in our 7th year at organizing the job fair. And it's with the same enthusiasm that the Centre's team works at organizing it," said André Roy, Executive Director for the Employment Services Centre. "As in past years, a minimum of 25 employers will be present in each location. Although the minimum number of employers has already been reached, some spaces remain available for those who would like to participate in the event. In order to signify their interest, employers need to quickly contact our Job Developers who will guide them towards registering. For job seekers, our professional employment counsellors offer them free job fair preparation workshops again this year, to be held two weeks prior to the event. These workshops will be given both in French and in English, and aim at supplying job seekers with tools to help them stand out from the crowd during the event, and thus, optimise their chances at getting an interview and a job. To better meet the needs of our clients, the schedule for the event has been modified. The job fair will be held from 9 am to 2 pm on the event dates," concluded Roy.

Job seekers are invited to visit the website, which will be a source of information to discover which employers will be present in each location, but also to know what jobs will be available at the fair. The website will also offer several tips and tricks to better prepare for the event. For employers there will be information to help them prepare for their participation at the fair. The website address to remember is : csepr.ca/foire-emploi.

The 2018 edition is made possible in part through the contributions of the following partners : United Counties of Prescott and Russell, Eastern Ontario Training Board, Compagnie d'Édition André Paquette Inc., the Hawkesbury Industrial and Investment Association, the Prescott-Russell Community Development Corporation, Rouge FM 94-9, Énergie 104.1 and the cities of Hawkesbury, Clarence-Rockland and East-Hawkesbury.
